If your company has moved to a new office, changed its business activities, or will be relocating the register of members*, you must inform ACRA of these updates.

To make these changes, log in to BizFile, complete, and submit the “Change in Company Information including Appointment/Cessation of Company Officers/Auditors” form under File eServices > Local Company > Make Changes.

There is no filing fee, but the update must be made within 14 days of the change to avoid a late filing penalty.

*For companies incorporated before January 3, 2016, it was required to keep hard copy records of shareholders (members). Though these records didn’t need to be shared with ACRA, companies had to declare where they were stored. This rule no longer applies to companies incorporated after January 3, 2016, which are required to maintain an electronic register under the amended Companies Act.
